East Austin Prep will Demo Globaloria Game Design Program at this High Tech Open House
AUSTIN, TX (January 26, 2012) – The first annual Digital Learning Day, happening February 1, 2012, is a national day of high-tech open houses in America’s schools and learning centers brought about by the Alliance for Excellent Education, an organization that advocates at the federal level to ensure resources are targeted to at-risk students in middle school and high school.
East Austin College Prep is the only school in Texas participating in the national campaign. EAPrep middle school students and teachers will be demonstrating for members of the press and community its innovative Globaloria program, established in 2006 by World Wide Workshop, which teaches students how to design social issue and STEM games in Flash.
