Mission: East Austin Children’s Promise is transforming a community facing challenges into a community filled with opportunities through education and family career support.
Overview: Our wrap-around services provide a holistic approach that targets education and employment across the life-span. This looks like rigorous school instruction, after-school and summer youth programming; adult education like GED, ESL, computer literacy; wellness classes like fitness and zumba ; cultural arts through dance, music and theatre; workforce development through 1-on-1 job coaching and OSHA certifications .
These programs are available for free, through partnerships with people and organizations like Travis County Constables and Girl Scouts and organizations such as Ballet East and PODER.
