Southwest Key Programs launched the East Austin Children's Promise to create an environment where East Austin kids can succeed in school and ultimately graduate from college. The East Austin Children's Promise is based on The Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) model, an internationally renowned program in New York City that operates an integrated system of education, social services and community-building programs within Harlem to help all children achieve their potential.To join the coalition, contact Joella Brooks at jbrooks@swkey.org or 512-462-2181.
