Melody Chung is Southwest Key's Chief Financial Officer. She oversees the Financial Accounting, Payroll and Accounts Payable departments consisting of three directors and a staff of over 25 staff. She is responsible for the oversight and administration of all the financial activities of the corporation including preparation of financial reports, planning and forecasting, proposal preparation and contract negotiation, cash management, payables and payroll.

Melody has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and industry, with audit experience in nonprofit organizations, school districts, cities, governmental agencies and banking. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She received her Certified Public Accountant License in 1986. She has volunteered as treasurer and financial secretary in various nonprofit organizations in the past twenty years. In 1996, Melody received a Top Idea Corporate Award for development and implementing quality improvement from IBM Corporation.

Melody has been married for over 20 years and has two teenagers, Tiffany and Matthew. She enjoys reading and cooking.
