Guillermo Corredor is Southwest Key's Director of Human Resources responsible for planning, directing, and supervising activities of the HR team relating to employment, benefits, and safety. He works closely with the management team to evaluate the existing organization, policies, procedures, benefits and compensation, as well as training and development. Guillermo has over 14 years of work experience in Human Resources and management and has been with Southwest Key since 2002. He is certified by the Society for Human Resource Management Association as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and has worked in the Oil & Gas, Semi-Conductor, and Service industries.
Prior to joining Southwest Key, Guillermo worked for an international semi-conductor company as a Payroll/HR Assistant Manager. He was born in Colombia and moved to the U.S. when he was 12 years old. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps, where he quickly rose to the rank of Sergeant. After his military service, he attended a technical school in Louisiana for two years and received certification in Data Processing Operations and was recruited by Amoco Corporation where he worked for 12 years as a Computer Operations Manager before changing careers.
