Catherine Peña is the Vice President – Branch Manager for Capital One Bank. She began her career with IBM Corporation, where she was employed for 13 years and subsequently held senior account manager positions for Curriculum Advantage, Lightspan, Inc., and Apple Computer’s SchoolVision, Inc. She studied business administration at the University of New Mexico.

In addition to her extensive professional experience, Catherine serves on the board of directors for a number of organizations, including Southwest Key Programs (since 2006), Southwest Key Enterprises, Hispanic PAC – Dallas, Texas, Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Corporation of South Texas (Board Member 2004 - 2007), Harlingen Community Development Corporation (Board Member 2004 - 2007), Southwest Community Investment Corporation (Board President 2005 - 2007), Brownsville Affordable Housing Corporation (2005 - 2007), Texas Association of Community Development Corporations, Silver Ribbon Community Partners (2006 – 2007 : Rio Grande Valley Advisory Board Member), Community Leadership Institute (Board Member 2007) and South Texas AAU (Board Member 2007).

She and her husband Jaime have two boys: Jaime J. Peña III and Michael James Peña.
