The goal of this project is break the stigma illegal immigrant youth experience in foster care. The project is designed to identify youth in foster care in need of their green cards and provide support and legal assistance. In partnership with the Legal Aid Society, we work with agencies to: identify these young people; educate the professional staff on the unique issues they face, as well as the special services they are entitled to; create a support peer network and assist them through the legal process of gaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
