Volunteer Computer
Instructors Needed
Southwest Key is looking for:
Basic Computer Literacy Instructors
Computer Workshop Instructors
Childcare Volunteers
(for parents enrolled in courses)
Southwest Key is looking for volunteers to help teach basic computer literacy skills and computer workshops to adults in the East Austin community. A childcare volunteer is also needed. Workshop subjects vary. Courses will be in the evenings with a small student-teacher ratio. English and Spanish language volunteers are needed, courses will be offered in both languages. We will work with volunteers to best meet their schedule.
- Spanish Classes meet Mondays & Wednesdays 6pm-8pm
All courses will be held at Southwest Key's AMD computer lab 6002 Jain Lane.

The East Austin Leadership Development Program (EALDP) is part of Southwest Key's ongoing community empowerment initiative. It's purpose is to develop, coordinate and promote a variety of projects to engage residents of East Austin and those concerned about East Austin in identifying critical issues and advocacy efforts in order to increase the political power, wealth and capacity of the community.
